The 2017 Seattle Fringe Festival needs great Volunteers to run the Front of House for all venues. We’re looking for box office, house managers, greeters, ushers, Class 12 bartenders, and more. As a volunteer you’ll get some pretty sweet perks!!
Venue Technician is a paid position that serves as the eyes and ears of each venue and each production, and reports to the Festival Production Director. People in these roles are assigned a venue and up to 4 productions. They also will be required to assist with load-in (March 19) and technical set-up for their assigned venue and strike (April 2) and must attend a mandatory orientation on March 16. Venue Technicians are intended to supervise the timing of shows as well as executing light cues. Venue Technicians assigned to the Theatre Puget Sound venues will be assessed by TPS Technical Director Rex Carleton, who will schedule additional orientation/training as he sees necessary to ensure the best experience possible for all.
Venue Technicians may see any show for free (based on remaining capacity in the venue).
THE FESTIVAL IS CLOSED FOR 2017- check back soon for details on how to get involved for 2018!
